Today is the day! CNN Money recently posted an article predicting Black Friday to be the best day of the year to buy a new car. If you can’t make it to the dealership today, many dealers will continue to offer great rebates and incentives over the weekend. Here are a few more of the great discounts currently available.

Chevrolet Red Tag Event – Chevy rebates range from $5,000 on a 2009 Chevrolet Corvette to $1,500 on a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo. If you’re a new GM buyer take advantage of $1,000 bonus cash. Also remember to look for closing Chevrolet dealerships in your area, you could save up to $2,000.

Hyundai Holidays – Save up to $2,500 on a 2009 Santa Fe, or $3,000 on a 2009 Sonata and take advantage of one of the best warranties on the road, 10 year/100,000 miles.

Mazda Drive-Off Event – If you’re a current Mazda owner get up to $1,000 owner loyalty cash toward 2009 MAZDA6 or CX-9. For top savings check out the 2009 Mazda RX-8, buy one before November 30th and receive $5,000 cash back.

Mercedes-Benz Winter Event – Through January 4th get low APR financing on many models. Or get a $10,000 dealer cash rebate on a 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK350, a 22% discount on the average price.

Toyotathon – Toyota is offering 0% APR for 60 months on many 2010 models. Most cash back offers are relatively week compared to it’s competitors except for the 2010 Tundra. Buy before the end of the month and get $2,000 cash back.

Volkswagen Sign Then Drive Event – VW likes to make things easy for people, lease a 2010 Jetta, CC or Tiguan for $0 down and monthly payments as low as $259. If you know a current Volkswagen owner take advantage of Friends & Family bonus and save up to $500 off MSRP. Also look for up to $2,500 rebates for 2009 models.
