Avoid the Hassle, Shop a Car Online

Edmunds surveyed more than 1000 U.S. drivers and found that Americans feel buying a new vehicle is more stressful than going on a first date or getting married. They found these results across the board, with no concentration in any age, gender, geography or any other variances.

The survey also found that online resources, such as www.BuyingAdvice.com, were the highest-ratyed sources of vehicle advice across all demographics. Also American shoppers despise haggling over the price of their new vehicle, even though it may save thousands of dollars to do so. 83% of people surveyed they preferred to avoid negotiating a price all together, with younger buyers making up 91% and Baby Boomers coming in at 78%.

It goes as far as people would give up pretty significant luxuries to avoid car price negotiation. Almost half of the respondents, 44 percent, said they would give up Facebook for a month to avoid it. Another 29 percent said they would not use their smartphone for a weekend if it meant they could avoid negotiation. 33 percent choose going to the DMV or doing their taxes or sitting in the middle seat in an airplane over the car buying process.

Negotiating on the price of a new vehicle doesn’t have to be stressful. If you have the right advice before you go to the dealership, you can save yourself hundreds or thousands of dollars, all without breaking a sweat. Get the best car buying tips at www.BuyingAdvice.com today!
