2008 Toyota Yaris Review

2008 Toyota Yaris Review The Yaris is a subcompact that debuted in the U.S. in 2007. Replacing the Echo, the Yaris, has long been a popular European model. Available in either a sedan or hatchback, the Yaris is both inexpensive and efficient. It was voted the 2000 “European Car of the Year.”

The BuyingAdvice Team Says:

The Toyota Yaris is a solid entry-level offering. However, this is a fast growing segment, and Toyota hasn’t done much to really make it stand out. There are several competitors that offer more for about the same price. The Yaris has promise, but it’s up to Toyota to really make it deliver.

“Yaris is a small, economy car that will replace the unloved Echo in Toyota’s U.S. lineup this spring, and while it is pleasant enough behind the wheel, Yaris seems to fall short of Toyota’s promise of a premium vehicle at a bargain price.”USA Today

“Forget about the cheap econoboxes of the past. The 2007 Toyota Yaris Liftback combines excellent fuel economy with space, comfort, and decent performance, all for a low price.”The Auto Channel
