As an innovator in online media space, Roman brings years of academic and industry experience utilizing technology to provide a truly personalized user experience. Roman continues to work on the core lead optimization technology and Buying Advice content management system to further simplify and secure the consumer experience. Buyingadvice uses the latest in ad optimization and content delivery technology and is entirely built using open source software. We extend many thanks to the following projects MySQL, Gentoo, Apache, Catalyst, Perl, Ruby or Rails, and Mason.
Roman has B.S. degrees in Psychology and Computer Science from University of Maryland at College Park, as well as an extensive background in human-computer interactions. His previous work experience includes new product research and development for Advertising.com, interactive design for an online community HeyMax.com, and software design and development for Riggs Bank.
Daniel DeHaven (President & Editor in Chief)
Daniel founded BuyingAdvice.com and has helped transform the company from a consumer advocate, special interest project, into a premier automotive destination for new car researchers and buyers. Daniel’s primary focus is on the development of BuyingAdvice’s overall strategic direction and daily operations. He ensures that the company holds true to its core values of delivering unbiased, well-researched, and cutting-edge advice to consumers.
Daniel holds a Masters in Social Work Degree from University of Maryland at Baltimore. He has years of training and experience on how to listen, organizing communities, and giving people an empowering voice. Since 2000, he has been focused on providing consumers a voice for auto buying and personal finance issues.
